Cop accused of flashing women

- Graham Rayman

An off-duty Nassau cop has been charged with creepily exposing himself to two women earlier this year.

Richard Furboter, 55, of East Meadow, L.I., was arrested Oct. 3 for exposing himself on June 25 and Sept. 12 in Nassau County, police said.

On June 25 at about 9 a.m., Furboter was in a parking lot sitting in a red SUV near the John F. Kennedy Memorial in Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, when he allegedly asked one victim, “You want to see my penis?”

He then allegedly rubbed his erect penis, according to the criminal complaint.

On Sept. 12, the complaint says, Furboter accosted a woman who was cleaning the windows of a bathroom at Eisenhower Park about 11 a.m.

“He massaged his body over his clothes over his penis and followed (the victim) outside and exposed himself,” the complaint said. Furboter was given a desk appearance ticket when he was arrested and released. He subsequently retired.
