SEAHAWKS vs RAIDERS (in London)
1 P.M., SEAHAWKS BY 3, 47
HANK’S HONEYS: Pete Carroll’s teams usually get better as the season goes on. After winning two straight, the Seahawks hung in with the Rams as a big underdog last week and they will be facing an Oakland team ripe for the picking. The Raiders — and Derek Carr in particular — look dazed and confused under Jon Gruden, who hasn’t exactly been enthusiastic about the long trip across the pond. There is one man playing at a high level here and that is Russell Wilson, who, with the benefit of a better running game, can start to use play action and read-option again. Carr has been awful under pressure so we’ll see if Gruden force-feeds Marshwan Lynch against his old team. Either way, we like Seattle’s D in this matchup. IF I WERE A BETTING MAN: Seahawks and the over.
