The show must go on.

Pop star Jason Derulo serenaded fans from a balcony at the arena where he was scheduled to perform after his show was canceled over safety concerns.

Tipsport Arena in Prague was determined to be unsafe just hours before the scheduled start of the 29year-old singer’s performance, the BBC reported. The concert was promptly rescheduled, but the singer (photo) decided to give thousands of fans a mini-concert in gratitude for their patience.

“The venue was declared unsafe last night so I performed outside on the balcony. Tho we’ll reschedule a proper date I couldn’t leave my family empty handed. The love and fellowship we shared last night will be forever tattooed on my heart,” Derulo wrote on Instagram.

He also posted a video showing his tour manager telling him about the venue’s safety issue, forcing the cancellation.

“I mean they’ve been outside since like 7 this morning,” Derulo says of his eager fans.

Derulo then says he’d head outside, and and asks for a megaphone before leaving the arena.

He positioned himself on the arena’s balcony and began singing “Marry Me” to a massive group of ticket-holders.

“This is such a moment for me. I’m so grateful from the bottom of my heart. Thank you,” he tells the throng.

Later in the video, female dancers join him on the balcony as he performs other hits.

“It was just about me and that moment and them and that connection. It reminds me of why I do the things that I do,” Derulo says in the video.

He later posted an image of himself walking the streets captioned, “Reliving moments from #Prague.”
