Constitutional conundrum

- Luis Claudio

Bronx: With all due respect to Voicer Carmelo Burgos, we are not a democracy; we are a constitutional republic. The founding fathers and mothers knew that winning by popular vote instead of electoral vote would only produce politicians who would only say the right phrases in public and doing something else once in office. If we went by your example, all presidential nominees would just go to the major cities and “fly over” the Midwest states. We all (U.S citizens) must follow the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the amendments. Period.
