- BY MICHAEL GARTLAND

One of the creeps who beat a Bronx street vendor into a coma after an attempted robbery got slapped with three years behind bars Wednesday, the Bronx DA’s office said.

Enrique Foote, 19, pleaded guilty in September to second-degree assault charges in connection with the gang beating of Souleymane Porgo, a street vendor working the corner of 149th St. and Third Ave. on May 2, 2017.

Aside from facing three years in the clink, Foote’s sentence Wednesday includes three years of postrelease supervision.

“The defendant and five others viciously beat the victim in front of his wife and children in broad daylight,” Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark said. “The attack left the victim in a coma with lifealtering injuries.”

Porgo was selling socks, handbags and books when one of the men tried to swipe a handbag, authorities said.

The Burkina Faso native initially fended the man off, but he came back — along with five of his friends. They all then proceeded to jump the 53year-old vendor and knock him to the sidewalk.

A cell phone video shows two of the men each landing a vicious punch to Porgo’s head as he lies defenseless on the ground.

Witnesses eventually stepped in, sending Porgo’s assailants fleeing. Porgo was rushed to Lincoln Hospital with multiple facial fractures and swelling and bleeding in his brain.

His treatment including have a portion of his skull removed, and he continues to need rehab for his injuries, Clark said.

William Burgess, 21, who initiated the brutal beatdown, was sentenced in June to four years in prison for his role in the attack. Charges against the four other defendants are still pending, the DA’s office said.
