The Trump administration will get a firsthand look at the conditions inside NYCHA properties this month.

Housing and Urban Development Department regional administrator Lynne Patton announced Sunday that she’s planning to spend four weeks living in city public housing.

“I will be residing with 4 different families in 4 different public housing properties each week,” Patton posted to Facebook. “I have my own inflatable bed, towel, portable chargers and will be purchasing all groceries for the family for the duration, so not to generate any undue expenses.”

Patton’s stay will begin Monday morning in the Patterson Houses in the South Bronx, where residents either never heard of her or were skeptical of her intentions.

“Who the hell is Lynne Patton?” asked Carline Campbell, a Patterson Houses resident of more than 20 years. “Anything from Trump I don’t trust. I don’t think she wants to help.”

Patton’s decision comes less than two weeks after HUD Secretary Ben Carson announced a federal monitor will be brought in to call the shots at NYCHA, which has been plagued with issues for years, from a lack of heat and hot water to rampant health risks associated with lead paint.
