Woman critically injured as she leaps in front of A train
A woman was critically injured when she jumped in front of an oncoming subway train in Brooklyn on Sunday morning, police said.
The conductor spotted the woman leaping in front of the Queensbound A train as it arrived at the Utica Ave. station in Bedford-Stuyvesant about 6:30 a.m., cops said.
The victim, who cops were not immediately able to identify, was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition.
Queens-bound A and C trains were briefly redirected to bypass the Utica Ave. station as police conducted their investigation.
