Conway backs Trump in feud with husband

Kellyanne Conway came to President Trump’s defense Wednesday after he blasted her spouse George Conway as a “stone cold LOSER” and a “husband from hell” — the latest jabs in a string of attacks amid their ongoing feud.

“George Conway, often referred to as Mr. Kellyanne Conway by those who know him, is VERY jealous of his wife’s success & angry that I, with her help, didn’t give him the job he so desperately wanted,” Trump tweeted.

“I barely know him but just take a look, a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!”

“The President of the United States everyone,” Conway (photo) wrote in response, just moments later.

Kellyanne Conway in an interview with Politico said Trump is free to respond to critiques in whatever manner he feel appropriate, especially given her husband’s recent jabs at his mental health.

“He left it alone for months out of respect for me. But you think he shouldn’t respond when somebody, a non-medical professional accuses him of having a mental disorder? You think he should just take that sitting down?” she said.

“Don’t play psychiatrist any more than George should be. You’re not a psychiatrist and he’s not, respectfully.”

The drama Wednesday comes a day after the President branded Conway a “total loser” in response to a tweet from his 2020 campaign manager, Brad Parscale, who claimed the 55year-old attorney was envious of his wife’s success at the White House.

“He barely worked for the @JusticeDept and was either fired/quit, didn’t want the scrutiny?” Parscale wrote on Monday. “Now he hurts his wife because he is jealous of her success. POTUS doesn’t even know him!”

Back in March 2017, Politico reported Conway had been the front-runner to head the Justice Department’s Civil Division, though he was never formally nominated. Three months later, Conway announced he would withdraw from consideration for the post.
