kick off this homestand with a win.”

Manager Mickey Callaway said he envisions Frazier playing third for the majority of his time with the big-league club. Though the infielder spent his rehab getting reps all over the diamond, including shortstop.

“Fraz is back and we’re glad he’s back,” Callaway said. “He feels great. He’s had some good performances the last few days and feels like he’s ready to go.”

Frazier spent the majority of his rehab (11 games) with Class-A Advanced Port St. Lucie in the Florida State League. He played two games with Triple-A Syracuse before getting the call-up on Monday.

The 33-year-old wrapped up his rehab slashing .238/.360/.333 with a .693 OPS and one homer, nine RBI, seven walks, nine strikeouts, a double and five runs scored over 13 games across the two minor-league levels.

“I was in Port St. Lucie for about 11 weeks,” Frazier said. “That’s way too long. Couple days in Syracuse and I knew kind of leading up once I got there it was only a matter of time. Can’t look back, gotta look forward and I’m ready to rock.” Frazier’s presence on the 25man roster came at a cost. In a corresponding move, the Mets placed lefthanded reliever Justin Wilson on the injured list (retroactive to April 20) with left elbow soreness.
