A knife-wielding 41-year-old woman went berserk at a Chelsea housing project and stabbed and slashed three teenagers who were bullying her son, cops and neighbors sa id Saturday.

Annie Martinez is facing three assault charges for allegedly attacking the teens in the lobby of a W. 25th St. building near Ninth Ave. in the ChelseaElliot Houses.

Police did not disclose what prompted the assault about 4:50 p.m. on Friday, but one neighbor said the mom was defending her son. The neighbor, who asked not to be named, said Martinez’s boy was in a fight with the other three boys when the defensive mom got involved, the neighbor said.

“[She] jumped in and stabbed the guy who was fighting with her son,” said the neighbor. “Then this other kid jumped in and she stabbed him, too.”

“It just got crazy,” the neighbor recounted, adding that the woman was wielding a kitchen knife.

“There was like 10 kids out here, and she was going crazy with the knife. She was stabbing everyone. It was wild.”

Police were called after two 17-year-old boys and a 15-yearold boy were found in the lobby with slash and stab wounds. Medics took them to area hospitals. All were expected to survive.

The youngest boy lived in the building, officials said. The older teens lived in the Chelsea-Elliot Houses, but in different buildings. None of them were related to Martinez, who did not appear to be injured, sources with knowledge of the case said.

Investigators zeroed in on Martinez about 10 p.m. on Friday night and charged her with the assaults, cops said. Her arraignment was pending.
