Said Ma hit her, now cuffed in witness assault

Ex-con entertainer Remy Ma’s worst frenemy was arrested for allegedly assaulting another hip-hop hangeron, the Daily News has learned.

Reality television star Brittney Taylor, who Ma allegedly sucker-punched during a clubland brawl in April, found herself in handcuffs Friday for allegedly attacking Dina Khalil, according to police and court records.

Khalil is reportedly a witness to the Irving Plaza assault in which Ma struck Taylor, sources said.

Taylor was arraigned on assault and harassment charges and released without bail late Friday night. She is expected to answer the charges in court July 8.

Police said Khalil, 21, and Taylor got into an argument at the “Love & Hip-Hop: New York” star’s 35th-floor condo at the uber-luxurious Atlelier on W. 42nd St. just before 7 p.m. Friday. Their beef spilled into the hall and onto the elevator as Khalil tried to flee.

Khalil got as far as the lobby when Taylor allegedly chucked a cellphone at her, striking the younger woman in the forehead, leaving her with a cut, police said.

Ma, 38, is accused of assaulting Taylor at a cancer benefit at Irving Plaza on April 16. The 30-year-old reality star suffered a shiner and called cops two days after the alleged assault.

Ma, whose real name is Remy Smith, is on parole until August for shooting a woman outside a Manhattan deli in 2007.

Prosecutors offered her a jail-free deal in May if she pleaded guilty to assaulting Taylor and went to angermanagement classes. Ma decided to take her chances at trial.

Taylor told the Daily News at the time of the alleged assault that Ma punched her out after she explained how she “defended” Ma’s stepdaughter Dejanae from an abusive man who was beatng her up.

“What happened with me and Dej in Miami is I saved her — I saved her life, nd [Remy] got agressive [when Britany told her at Iring],” Taylor said.

Taylor’s civil lawer, Sanford Rubentein, said her arrest Friday “does not in any way” change the facts of the April 16 assault.

Eric Sanders, one of the attorneys representing Ma, on Saturday told The News that Taylor’s arrest “creates a major credibility issue for the prosecution and Mr. Rubenstein to contend with.”

“Either way, we intend to continue pressing forward to ensuring Remy is totally vindicated,” Sanders said.
