AWW, POOR RUDY

Judi rips ex-mayor’s cry of poverty in nasty divorce feud

Rudy Giuliani works for the billionaire in the White House free and gets other clients to cover his expenses, an attorney for the former mayor’s estranged wife said during a Thursday hearing that revealed details about their strained finances.

The allegations about how Giuliani covers costs associated with his unpaid work for President Trump emerged during a contentious divorce hearing in Manhattan Supreme Court. Judith Giuliani’s attorney Bernard Clair argued Rudy’s claims he works free were part of an attempt to avoid income until after the divorce is resolved.

“Not only is he working pro bono for the president, for this individual, but it’s costing him money. Not only does he work for free, all of his expenses — every time he goes down to Washington, D.C., every time he travels for the president — it comes out of his own pocket. And he won’t say how much it’s costing him,” Clair said.

“What he says typically is if he’s going to work for the president, he bundles, for lack of a better word, clients who do have to reimburse him.

“The Warsaw trip is for the president, but it’s also for someone else because he’s giving a speech,” Clair cited as an example of Giuliani’s unpaid work for Trump.

Rudy, 75, and Judith face a monthlong trial in January. The couple is worth $30 million, with most of it in real estate in the Hamptons and Florida. They also have an apartment on E. 66th St., but the building’s board is seeking to end their lease due to $77,000 in unpaid fees, Rudy’s lawyer Faith Miller said.

During talks about the conditions of the apartment, Judith slammed her fist on the table, outraged at Miller’s claim that she had removed items that were not hers.

“Ma’am, I’m not going to tolerate an outburst in my courtroom,” Justice Michael Katz said.

Miller submitted photos of empty shelves, saying Judith took china, silver and pictures off of the walls of the home.

“The place was denuded and a mess,” Miller said.

“I was entitled to my family antiques, and he knows that,” Judith said after court.

They are also feuding over a $5 million bank account.

Judith, 64, filed for divorce from Rudy last year. Rudy famously fell for Judith at a cigar bar in 1999 while he was mayor and still married to his second wife, Donna Hanover.

The fight has created such strain that Rudy took a $100,000 loan from prominent Trump attorney Marc Mukasey to help pay taxes.

The Daily News asked if that meant Trump’s tax cuts had not helped Rudy.

“They worked out really well for me — except my wife has tied up all my money,” he replied, adding that he’d repaid most of the loan.

Clair argued that Rudy claims “woe is me financially” to the court while still living high on the hog.

Rudy got a $6 million job offer from law firm Bainbridge in February, Clair said. He also attended a YankeesRed Sox game last month in London. Rudy claimed in a deposition that trip was covered by a podcast the former mayor has yet to launch. Rudy also spent $40,000 on dental work for the son of his new flame, Maria Ryan, and paid a $50,000 application fee for membership in a private flight company, Clair said.

But Rudy’s lawyer insisted the ex-mayor-turned-Trumpmouthpiece was doing his best to maintain the lifestyle both he and Judith enjoy. Rudy is paying her $40,000 a month and says he’s earned $800,000 this year.

“The burn rate to support Ms. Giuliani’s lifestyle and the court’s order is approximately $110,000 per month before he has a cup of coffee,” she said.

“Ms. Giuliani testified she’s 64 years old and far too old to work,” Miller said. “She’s a registered nurse! She refuses to do anything. … There’s absolutely no reason he should feel financial pressure at this stage of his life with the estate he’s amassed.”
