Don sends bash victim signed hat

A “MAGA” hat-wearing gallery owner who claims he was brutally beaten by an antiTrump mob in Manhattan last month received some political consolation that blew his mind Thursday.

Jahangir Turan, the owner of the David Parker Gallery in Midtown, told the Daily News he was “shocked” to find a brand new “Make America Great Again” cap signed by President Trump (top inset) in the mail along with a letter from his 2020 campaign wishing him “a swift recovery” and calling his July 31 assault “unwarranted, disturbing and gruesome.”

But Turan (bottom inset) said he was “even more shocked” while at a doctor’s office a few hours later.

“I got a call from Eric and Lara Trump,” Turan, 42, told The News. “They wanted to thank me for what I’ve been doing and thank me for my support. They said they’re with me and that they’re going to push the police to hopefully make an arrest.”

Turan, who suffered a broken eye socket in the vicious Chinatown assault, said the Trump son and his wife invited him to “the next big event” the president is hosting in the area.

A Trump campaign official confirmed the authenticity of the letter to Turan, which was dated Aug. 2.

“The violent and criminal act against you and your political beliefs was wrong,” said the letter, which was provided to The News. “As you recover, be reminded of the fact that millions of American have you in their thoughts.”

No arrests have been made in Turan’s assault.

The gallery owner said 15 teenagers shouting “f—k Trump” jumped him while he was walking down Canal St. near Broadway around 7:30 p.m. on July 31.
