“The Invisible Man”

Horror, R. Elisabeth Moss stars as a woman desperate to prove that she’s still being stalked by her dead, abusive ex-husband.

“Saint Frances” Comedy/drama. After an unplanned pregnancy ends in abortion, a woman finds herself confronted with motherhood and winds up as a nanny to a 6-year-old girl.

“Wendy”

Adventure drama, PG-13. Director Benh Zeitlin (“Beasts of the Southern Wild”) reimagines Wendy and the Island of Lost Boys from J.M. Barrie’s classic “Peter Pan.”

“The Burnt Orange Heresy” Suspense drama, R. Mick Jagger stars as an art dealer who attempts to orchestrat­e the theft of a painting from a reclusive artist (Donald Sutherland).

“First Cow”

Drama, PG-13. Director Kelly Reichardt returns to the Pacific Northwest for a 19th-century story of two men — a white cook and a Chinese immigrant — building a business among fur trappers with the help of a wealthy man’s cow.

“Hope Gap”

Drama, PG-13. Annette Bening and

Bill Nighy star as a British couple considerin­g divorce after 29 years of marriage.

“Onward”

Animated adventure, PG. In this star-studded Disney Pixar production, a spell goes wrong, leading two elf brothers on a quest to bring back their father.

“The Way Back”

Sports drama, R. Ben Affleck portrays a grieving alcoholic who’s invited to coach a high school basketball team.

“Bloodshot”

Action sci-fi, PG-13. Vin Diesel stars as a soldier who’s been brought back from the dead with superhero-like powers, only to be manipulate­d by the company that invented the technology that saved him. Based on a comic book.

“I Still Believe”

Music drama, PG. A biopic based on Christian music star Jeremy Camp, whose first wife died at 21 of cancer.

“My Spy”

Action comedy, PG-13. A CIA officer (Dave Bautista) is discovered by a bullied 9-year-old girl, who then enlists him to teach her how to be a spy.
