AXED IN RACIAL SLAPS

Vanderpump stars out

Multiple stars of “Vanderpump Rules,” including original cast members Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, have been fired amid controversies involving racially insensitive activity.

“Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute (above l. to r.), Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to ‘Vanderpump Rules,' ” Bravo said in a statement.

Former cast member Faith Stowers last week accused Schroeder and Doute of reporting her to the police in 2018 for a crime she didn't commit. They called the cops after reading an article about an African-American woman accused of theft, Stowers said.

“It was a weird photo, so she looked very lightskinned and had these different, weird tattoos,” Stowers said on Instagram Live. “They showcased her, and I guess this woman was robbing people. … They called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story. I heard this from actually Stassi during an interview.”

Both Schroeder, 31, and Doute, 37, have since issued apologies.

“My emotions over something that happened between our friends outweighed my logic, and there is no excuse for that,” Schroeder said in an Instagram statement. “I did not realize the serious ramifications that could have transpired because of my actions.”

Doute said on Twitter: “Although my actions were not racially driven, I am now completely aware of how my privilege blinded me from the reality of law enforcement's treatment of the black community, and how dangerous my actions could have been to her. “

Racially offensive tweets shared by Boyens and Caprioni years earlier resurfaced in January. Both joined the cast of “Vanderpump Rules” for the eighth season, which premiered in January.

The series debuted in 2013.
