Cops renew search for missing Conn. ma

Connecticu­t police returned to a mansion near the home of late murder suspect Fotis Dulos Thursday in an apparent search for the body of his missing wife Jennifer Farber Dulos.

At least a dozen state police cars descended on the sprawling estate on Sky View Drive in Avon, the Hartford Courant reported.

A speeding sports car driver and a pedestrian were killed in a fiery Bronx crash early Thursday after the motorist lost control of his vehicle and slammed into the bystander.

The driver of the 2019 Dodge Challenger was speeding north on the Bronx River Parkway about 1:30 a.m. when he merged onto an exit ramp near amid a suicide bid three weeks after he was charged with Jennifer’s murder in January.

Sky View Drive property years ago, before their bitter divorce and child custody battle, and Fotis’ constructi­on company worked on the home in 2018, so he likely was aware the 15,000square-foot house had sat unoccupied since 2017, The Courant reported.

E. Gun Hill Road and slammed into a pedestrian before crashing into a concrete wall, cops said.

The driver was sent flying from the car as it erupted into flames.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The severely injured pedestrian was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, but he could not be saved.

State police did visit the property after Jennifer’s May 2019 disappeara­nce, but detectives didn’t get a search warrant or use cadaver dogs to search the woods behind the house or the septic tank, as they did at several other properties Fotis owned, sources told Courant.

The home’s owner said investigat­ors searched his property last June after he gave them permission, but he wasn’t

The sure how thorough the visit was.

“I told them, ‘Whatever you need to do if it helps find the missing mother of five children,’ ” owner David Ford told The Courant.

Jennifer was last seen alive dropping her five kids off atschool in New Canaan on May 24, 2019.

Fotis was charged with her murder Jan. 7.

Three weeks later on Jan. 28, he was found unresponsi­ve in the front seat of his SUV with the vehicle’s engine running in the enclosed garage of his Farmington mansion.

He died in a Bronx hospital two days later.
