Two hunted in attack on cop SUV during protest
Two men are being sought for attacking an NYPD SUV with rocks, bottles and a traffic cone during a George Floyd protest in Brooklyn.
Officers were responding to a 911 call about other officers who needed help when a group surrounded their SUV at St. Marks and Flatbush Aves. about 8 p.m. May 30.
A convicted drug dealer faces murder charges, accused of fatally shooting one man and wounding another in a Brooklyn housing development.
Earl Morgan, 50, was busted Tuesday and charged in the May 30 killing of Joheem Hamilton, 25, in a Monument Walk building near Navy St. in Fort Greene, part of the Ingersoll Houses.

One protester jumped on top of the vehicle, startling video shows. Officers at the scene, including one hit with the cone, suffered minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital, authorities said.
Cops released the video Monday and asked the public’s help tracking down the suspects.

Medics took Hamilton to New York Methodist Hospital, but he could not be saved. The other victim went to Brooklyn Hospital. An NYPD spokeswoman couldn’t provide a motive for the shooting Tuesday night.
Morgan served state prison time for drug convictions in 1995 and 2005, public records show.
He awaits arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court.
