Arrested in attempted rape in Bx. apt. lobby

A man was arrested in the Bronx for a brutal attempted rape caught on video, cops said Sunday.

Michael Rosa, 25, was picked up for allegedly attempting to rape a woman in the lobby of a building on Reservoir Oval West near E. 210th St. in Norwood about 8 a.m. on Friday, cops said.

Harrowing video shows the attacker pulling the woman into the lobby, throwing her to the ground and repeatedly punching her while trying to take off her clothes.

Cops said the victim screamed and fought her attacker until he finally gave up and fled.

She was taken to a local hospital and treated for bruising on her face and arms, cops said.

Cops had released surveillance images (inset) Saturday of the suspect and asked the public’s help in identifying him and tracking him down.

Rosa, who lives in Morrisania, was charged with attempted rape, strangulation, sexual abuse, forcible touching and assault, cops said
