Little Neck: Do you know that religious organizations and nonprofits generally are exempt from NYC water charges? Few get billed. There is no reason why these organizations should be getting a free ride, subsidized by the rest of us who are overburdened by the cost of living in NYC. Water is a utility similar to gas and electricity. If you pay for gas and electricity, you should also pay for water.
