Madonna bares most in a selfie

Madonna has posted a topless photo of herself wearing nothing but black panties and matching hat.

On Monday, the 61-year-old entertainer extraordinaire revealed the sultry Instagram shot, in which her arms strategically obscure her bare breasts as she leans on a black crutch.

“Everyone has a crutch,” reads the tongue-in-cheek caption by the “Justify My Love” singer.

The crutch is the likely result of treatment after 2019 knee surgery and a Feb. 27 concert fall in Paris.

“Finally going to get my regenerative treatment for my missing cartilage,” wrote Madonna (inset) on May 12 for her social media sites with an accompanying black-and-white photo of herself clad in near-see-through black panties. “I would be jumping up and down if I could after eight months of being in pain.”

Madonna took the French tumble one month after injuring herself in London as part of her worldwide Madame X tour.

While many praised Madonna for her sexy-after-60 snap — including drag queen Manila Luzon, who replied, “Still a hottie” — many social media users voiced their displeasure with the photo taken a month before her 62nd birthday.

“Show your lovely boobs all you want but why did you ruin your face with plastic surgery?!?!?!” griped Instagram user rydingthewaves.

Another fan’s assessment was even more brutal.

“So your self-esteem is that low that you got to take your clothes off and put it in on Instagram, Madonna?” wrote the critic. “You’re rich [and] famous, you have everything but I guess your self-esteem is not there.”

Madonna’s tour was abruptly cut short in March amid global COVID-19 concerns.
