Kinky cleric found dead in N.J. home

A kinky Bronx priest with a reported taste for S&M turned up dead in the New Jersey home where he once allegedly paid $1,000 an hour to cavort with a muscle-bound boyfriend known as “Master,” cops confirmed Friday.

The body of Peter Miqueli, 58, was found Thursday in his residence in Brick Township, N.J., according to local police. No other information was released, and the body was turned over to the Ocean County Medical Examiner to determine exactly how he died.

In a headline-making 2015 lawsuit, Miqueli was accused of submitting to the sexual whims of the younger man — even drinking his hunky gay lover’s urine on command during their rough sex sessions in the Jersey residence.

Miqueli, who paid cash for their sexual encounters, was ordered to refer to his partner as “Master,” according to the lawsuit.

The home featured a heavily trafficked hot tub in the backyard, with a steady stream of male visitors at the house, neighbors said at the time.

Miqueli resigned from the church one year after the scandal broke, and he was officially suspended by the Catholic church in 2019. The suspension barred him from celebrating Mass or administering church sacraments.

An investigation by the Bronx district attorney’s office cleared Miqueli of charges that he looted more than $1 million from two Archdiocese of New York churches to fund his bizarre sexual relationship with the beefy younger boyfriend, along with vacations in Florida and Italy.

But the lawsuit detailed the priest’s sordid sexual shenanigans with the younger man, whose BMW was often seen parked in the Jersey driveway, neighbors said. Miqueli reportedly paid $264,000 cash for the shore house back in 2009.

The lawsuit, brought by parishioners at St. Francis de Chantal Church in Throgs Neck and from Miqueli’s prior posting at St. Francis Cabrini on Roosevelt Island, disappeared after the DA’s probe.

Miqueli’s last birthday was Tuesday, two days before his body was discovered.
