The mother of the three children who were caught in a hail of gunfire inside a Bronx car dealership cries every time she sees the horrifying viral video of the incident — but her heart swells with pride knowing her husband risked it all to protect them.

“I cried every time, just to know that my children were involved,” grateful mom Danica Jefferson said outside her home in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx on Wednesday.

“It could have gone way worse. I definitely appreciate him for his act, which he did to protect our children.”
