Homeless woman dead on D train

- Thomas Tracy

A homeless woman was found dead on a Brooklyn D train early Friday, with a source saying she had a bloody nose and footprints across her body.

The 30-year-old woman, believed to be Hispanic, was found face down on the floor of the subway car after the train pulled into the Stillwell Ave. station in Coney Island shortly after midnight, cops said.

She was dressed in a pink shirt, pink coat and black pants. A source said she had a bloody nose and footprints across her body as if someone had trampled over her.

Based on an initial investigation, the woman — who had no identification on her — did not appear to be the victim of a crime, an NYPD spokesman said.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine how she died.

The MTA referred the Daily News to the NYPD for comment.
