Even dodging a bullet wasn’t enough to save the life of a teenage Brooklyn dad.

Dashalique (Dash) Rameau, 19, survived a wild high-speed car chase and the slug that shattered the rear window of his BMW before he was mortally injured in a crash just three blocks from his Canarsie home, cops said. Rameau plowed his prized luxury car into a parked Nissan Maxima at about 1 p.m. on Oct. 3, according to cops.

His mother, after hearing the gunshot and the crunch of metal, rushed to the scene at E. 103rd St. near Glenwood Road to find her dying son unable to speak a word.

“That was my only kid, you know,” said Marcy Rameau, 44, as tears streamed down her face Friday. “This is too much for me.”

The devastated mother said her son — father to a 1-year-old girl — was a good kid who loved video games, the latest gadgets and his BMW.

“My son was not in the streets,” she insisted. “He did not sell drugs. I think the latest I ever saw him come home was 1 a.m. or 2 a.m. And he called me to tell me.”

But cops described a scene where several cars chased the victim’s vehicle through local streets at high speed before one of his pursuers popped a bullet through the back window and the BMW crashed.

Cops were investigating the case as a homicide even though Rameau wasn’t directly killed by his pursuers. Police said no arrests have been made in the death.

“From my understanding, he got out of the car (after the crash),”said the mother’s boyfriend Brett Jordan, his voice choking up.

“The adrenaline. He started feeling dizzy so he sat down. His mom just happened to be on the block. She runs down ... She’s able to talk to him and rub his leg. He was trying to respond because he hears her voice.”

The teen victim was raised in Queens and moved to Carnarsie about three years ago. He was planning to return to school for his high school diploma, and worked multiple jobs to support his child, his mother said.

“There are mad stories about him, but none of them talk about him right,” she added.

Cops offered no motive for the chase and the gunfire that preceded the deadly crash. But Jordan said he believed the killing was a “multi-layered situation,” a combination of jealousy, associating with the wrong people and landing in the wrong place at the wrong time.

“He saved his money, you know?” said Jordan. “But people will sabotage you just for knowing certain people.”

Friends and neighbors of Rameau mourned his passing with two memorials at his building on E. 108th St. in NYCHA’s Breukelen Houses. Others expressed their grief on social media.

“I really thought you was gonna pull through,” a high school friend, who goes by the handle Mea Bangaa, wrote on Facebook. “I love you so much Dash. You really left your daughter.”
