‘Many reasons’ revival’s unlikely

A return to Tree Hill likely isn’t on the horizon.

James Lafferty, who starred as jock Nathan Scott on the longrunning “One Tree Hill,” threw water on the idea that the CW drama will join the ranks of mid-2000s shows being rebooted.

“I don’t know how that would be possible for many different reasons,” Lafferty, 35, told the Daily News.

While the cast has frequently reunited off camera, including a February charity event in Wilmington, N.C., where the show was filmed, plans have always stopped there.

Sexual harassment allegations against creator Mark Schwahn — writers and female actors on the show accused him of running a toxic workplace that included sexual assault — are likely holding up the project, too, but Lafferty wouldn’t go into details. The actor did tease, however, that his new show, “Everyone Is Doing Great,” will explore the current “reboot culture.”

“One Tree Hill” ran from 2003 to 2012 and starred Lafferty, Chad Michael Murray, Bethany Joy Lenz, Hilarie Burton and Sophia Bush as a group of high school students struggling to get through life.
