Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein directed “a room full of underage girls to kiss, dance, and touch one another” a witness told attorneys for an accuser, newly unsealed papers reveal.
Thousands of pages of documents unsealed late Wednesday in a civil suit brought by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre against Maxwell featured shocking new allegations of the couple’s depraved lifestyle. In one disturbing account, a visitor to Epstein’s Palm Beach, Fla., mansion noticed a 15-yearold girl “trembling” in his kitchen, introducing herself as his personal assistant.
One witness, whose named was redacted from the unsealed paperwork, testified he “watched Maxwell direct a room full of underage girls to kiss, dance, and touch one another in a sexual way for [Maxwell] and Epstein to watch.”
Giuffre’s ex-boyfriend, Anthony Figueroa, said in a 2016 deposition that she, Epstein and Maxwell were “all intimate together” on multiple occasions.
“Her and Ms. Maxwell and Jeffrey would obviously be doing stuff, all three of them together ... they would all go out to clubs to pick up girls and try and find them to bring back for Jeffrey,” Figueroa said.
“I remember [Giuffre] talking about, like, strap-ons and stuff like that.”
Giuffre alleges she served as Maxwell and Epstein’s sex slave while underage in the early 2000s. She claims Epstein loaned her to Prince Andrew for sex — a claim the British royal denies.
Maxwell has denied having a stash of sex toys while serving as Epstein’s partner and top procurer of girls. But Epstein’s Florida housekeeper, Juan Alessi, said in a deposition sex toys were a common sight.
“I would find things like a dildo, it’s called a double. I hate to say it ... But I find these things, put my gloves on, took it out and rinse it, and put it in Ms. Maxwell’s closet,” Alessi said, adding that he also saw a “shiny black costume” in the British socialite’s closet.
Maxwell is awaiting trial behind bars on charges she groomed victims for Epstein in the mid-1990s, before she met Giuffre.
“I never ever at any single time at any point ever at all participated in anything with Virginia and Jeffrey. And for the record, she is an absolute total liar and you all know she lied on multiple things and that is just one other disgusting thing she added,” Maxwell said in a deposition.
In a heavily redacted section of Maxwell’s July 2016 deposition, she said she and Epstein eventually grew apart after years serving as his quasi-employee and girlfriend.
“I ceased to be happy in the job and I ceased to be happy spending time with Mr. Epstein ... He became more difficult to work with,” Maxwell said. Asked to be more specific, she responded: “Just general. Just doesn’t work.”
Maxwell added she only found out about Epstein’s sexual abuse of girls
“Like everybody else, like the rest of the world, when it was announced in the papers.”
Giuffre was far from the only young girl adults noticed around Epstein’s residences, according to testimony.
Epstein accuser Johanna Sjoberg testified in a deposition that Maxwell was comfortable having a relationship with Epstein while he slept with other women.
“She let me know that ... she would not be able to please him as much as he needed and that is why there were other girls around,” Sjoberg said.
Epstein bragged about his sick lifestyle.
“He wanted to have a friend of mine come out who was a cardio-kickboxer instructor. She was a physical trainer. And so I brought her over to the house, and he told my friend Rachel, he said, ‘You see that girl over there laying by the pool? She was 19 . ... I just took her virginity.’ And my friend Rachel was mortified,” Sjoberg recalled.
One episode captured the lasting damage done by Epstein and Mawell’s alleged abuse. Rinaldo Rizzo, a butler who worked for hedge-fund billionaire Glenn Dubin, said Epstein once visited with a 15-year-old Swedish girl. She was “shaking, literally quivering,” Rizzo said.
“It was very uncomfortable ... she says ‘I’m Jeffrey’s executive assistant, personal assistant,’” Rizzo said. “She says, ‘Ghislaine took my passport.’”
The girl added that Maxwell and Epstein had threatened her, Rizzo recalled.
