Queens woman, ambushed while taking out trash, is robbed of $3G

- BY WES PARNELL

A pair of armed robbers ambushed a woman taking out her trash in Queens, forcing their way into her home — where she wrestled fiercely with them before they made off with $3,000 cash, startling video shows.

The 35-year-old victim was putting out the garbage outside her apartment near College Point Blvd. and Sanford Ave. in Flushing when the two crooks pointed a gun at her about 6:40 p.m. on Friday, demanding she take them upstairs, police said.

Video taken inside her apartment shows the two men subduing the woman, a gun pointed to her head, as she writhes and wrestles to get away.

One robber told the victim “not to cry our else they’d shoot her,” a police source said.

The crooks made away with the $3,000 in cash, two iPhones, a Louis Vuitton purse and credit cards, police said.

The victim didn’t know her attackers, but police believe she was targeted because she handles cash, operating a skin care and beauty business from her apartment.

The robbers were both slim and wore black masks and all-black clothing. One of the crooks had the words “OFF THE WALL,” a common Vans slogan, on the back of his jacket, police said.

Cops are asking the public’s help identifying them and tracking them down.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
