A Brooklyn woman dialed 911 after she stabbed to death her 25-year-old ex-boyfriend while her two children were home, police said Tuesday.

Alma Bravo, 29, used a kitchen knife to stab ex-boyfriend Frankie Cardona in the chest and neck during a blowup Monday in her home on E. 94th St. near Foster Ave. in Canarsie, cops said. She called 911 at 10:11 p.m.

Bravo stabbed Cardona during a fight in the kitchen, officials said. Her two children, ages 13 and 11, were in the apartment when the attack took place.

Cardona, who is not the children’s father, died at the scene, cops said.

Cops recovered the murder weapon and arrested Bravo on murder and weapon possession charges. She has no criminal record, police said.

Cardona, who lived in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, had one prior arrest for assault, officials said.

He’d recently become homeless, after a girlfriend kicked him out, said one friend, who wouldn’t give his name.

“Frankie was a street dude,” the friend said. “He was living on the street and talking to whatever ex-girlfriend would give him a place to stay.”

Cardona and Bravo had been involved in domestic incidents in the past that drew police responses, but with other partners, police said.

One ex-girlfriend, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said she booted him from her place after they lived together for about two years.

“He had a hard start and it led to a hard life. I had to let him go, but I didn’t want anything like this to happen to him,” she said.
