Bodega gunwoman was looking for ‘Jonathan,’ say prosecutors

-

A woman caught on video shooting a gun at a Bronx bodega worker was trying to track down a man named Jonathan, prosecutors said Thursday.

“Where’s Jonathan?” Jackelyn Classen, 41, screamed inside the Westchester Ave. bodega in Longwood before allegedly opening fire about 1 a.m. April 1, according to court papers. “Where he at? Tell him to stop playing with me or I will kill you and him!”

Employee George Lugo was working when Classen barged into the bodega near Faille St. and tried to shoot him behind the counter.

“I looked up and saw the barrel of a gun,” Lugo told the Daily News shortly after the shooting. “I heard the first click and knew she was going to shoot me.”

Classen’s first shot jammed but she eventually managed to fire the gun. The bullets went wild, hitting the counter and ceiling. She then ran off, speeding away in a gray sedan, cops said.

Lugo, 40, said he once dated Classen’s sister-in-law but the relationship ended a year ago.

Classen is on a mission of vengeance against anyone related to her estranged husband, who she believes molested her daughter, Lugo said.

“Everybody she thinks is related to or friends of his, she’s going after,” Lugo said. “She is out for blood.”

Cops arrested Classen on Monday and charged her with attempted murder, weapon possession, reckless endangerment, attempted assault and harassment, officials said. A judge ordered her held on $100,000 bail during a brief arraignment proceeding Wednesday.

She had no prior arrest record before the April 1 shooting, cops said.
