COPS TARGET MANSON

Raid rocker’s L.A. home, seize hard drives amid domestic violence probe

- BY KATE FELDMAN

Los Angeles detectives seized hard drives from rocker Marilyn Manson’s Hollywood home Monday while executing a search warrant as part of an investigation into multiple accusations of domestic violence.

The musician, born Brian Warner, was not home at the time, according to police.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the raid to the Daily News on Tuesday but would not provide any more details. The sheriff’s department opened an investigation into Manson in February, citing “allegation[s] of domestic violence” that took place between 2009 and 2011.

Among Manson’s alleged victims is actress Evan Rachel

Wood, who accused him in February of grooming, brainwashing and manipulation.

Wood, who began dating Manson in 2007 when she was 19 and he was 38, had previously spoken about an unnamed ex who had abused her during the relationship, but did not identify him as Manson until this year.

“My experience with domestic violence was this: Toxic mental, physical and sexual abuse which started slow but escalated over time, including threats against my life, severe gaslighting and brainwashing, waking up to the man that claimed to love me raping what he believed to be my unconscious body,” she told a House judiciary subcommittee in 2018.

A year later, she told the California Senate about an abuser who “had bouts of extreme jealousy, which would often result in him wrecking our home, cornering me in a room, and threatening me.”

“I mustered the courage to leave several times, but he would call my house incessantly and threaten to kill himself,” Wood testified.

“On one occasion, I returned to try and defuse the situation, he cornered me in our bedroom, and asked me to kneel. Then he tied me up by my hands and feet. Once I was restrained he beat me and shocked sensitive parts of my body with a torture device called a violet wand. To him it was a way for me to prove my loyalty. The pain was excruciating. It felt like I left my body and a part of me died that day.”

In April, “Game of Thrones” actress Esme Bianco sued Manson for sexual assault and sexual battery, accusing him of “drugs, force, and threats of force” to coerce her into sex.

Bianco claimed the rocker violated human trafficking laws by luring her from London to Los Angeles, where he kept her at his West Hollywood apartment and prohibited her from eating or sleeping without his permission. She also claimed that Manson whipped her, gave her electric shocks and threatened to enter her room and rape her in the middle of the night.

Manson’s former assistant Ashley Walters filed a similar lawsuit in May, arguing that Manson “set out to groom” Walters after noticing her on social media by “dangling professional opportunities ... in order to manipulate and exploit her to the point that she was treated like property.”

Walters claimed Manson “offered [her] up” sexually to friends and colleagues and repeatedly assaulted her. Once, the lawsuit alleges, Manson showed her a video of himself torturing an underage female fan by pointing a gun at her, then “stripping her down and whipping her until she screamed and cried.”

She also alleged that he regularly forced her to stay awake for 48 consecutive hours, feeding her cocaine to keep her up.

Manson has previously denied all allegations against him. His attorney did not immediately return a request for comment from The News on Tuesday.
