Family of Brooklyn teen wants answers in TikTok shooting

The distraught sibling of a Brooklyn teen killed in shooting first linked to a TikTok video wants more details about the deadly encounter.

Adriana Graham, 18, died two days after she was found on May 4 with a gunshot wound to the head by police responding to a 911 call in a Crown Heights building lobby at 2:46 a.m.

No arrests were made in the fatal late-night shooting on Sterling Place, although police deemed the death a homicide.

“We don’t know exactly what happened,” her older sister India Washington told the Daily News. “No one will understand what we’re going through unless it was your family. I just pray.”

A police source told The News the shooting occurred while Graham (photo) and a friend were shooting a TikTok video, but Washington has her doubts.

“Where is that coming from?” she asked. “It’s very inaccurate . ... She was scheduled to graduate this year, she was a great student. I would like there to be justice for her.”

Graham, who was hanging out with friends when she was shot, was scheduled to get her diploma next month from the W.H. Maxwell Career and Technical Education High School in East New York. She died at Kings County Hospital last Friday.

The shocking death produced an outpouring of mourners on social media, including a tribute video showing a vigil where balloons were released into the sky.

Her sister didn’t know what Adriana was even doing in a neighborhood she described as “worse than the projects.” And she remained heartbroken and confused over exactly what happened that night.

“She had a wonderful life, always happy and smiling,” said Washington. “She had no trials and tribulations. She was a respectful young lady. We all have a date and time on when we are going to go.

“It’s the how and the why that upsets me. It’s really messed up.”
