Protests and parades take center stage on NYC streets this weekend.

Abortion rights protests are continuing across the city. Expect large crowds at Union Sq. for the Abortion Stays Legal rally on Saturday at 2 p.m.; a march to the rally will begin from Cadman Plaza in Brooklyn at noon, proceeding over the Brooklyn Bridge. The Defend Roe rally will be held on Sunday at noon in Foley Sq.

There will be numerous parades this weekend. Saturday, Haitian Culture Day kicks off at 10 a.m. at Nostrand Ave. & Church Ave., and will be followed by a street festival taking place on Brooklyn Ave. between Foster Ave. and Newkirk Ave. The Ecological City Procession for Climate Solutions will begin at 11 a.m. on Sixth St. between Ave. B and Ave. C, and will proceed around the Lower East Side, concluding in East River Park. At 1 p.m., the Japan Parade will start from 81st St. and Central Park West, heading south towards 68th St.

Sunday, the Asian American and Pacific Islander Cultural and Heritage Parade will start at 10:45 a.m. at Sixth Ave. at 44th St., and head uptown to 55th St. At noon, the Bronx Week Annual Parade will begin from Mosholu Pkwy. and Van Cortlandt Ave. East, and will proceed down the parkway to Bainbridge

Ave. At 1:30 p.m., the Norwegian Day Parade kicks off from Third Ave. and 80th St. in Bay Ridge, continue to Bay Ridge Ave., down Fifth Ave., turn onto 67th St. ending at Lief Ericson Park.

On Sunday, AIDS Walk New York starts at 8 a.m. in Central Park; expect extra activity near 72nd St. on both Fifth Ave. and Central Park West. Park Slope’s Fifth Ave. Fair will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Sterling St. to 12th St. The Astoria Spring Festival will take place along 31st St. between Ditmars Blvd. and 21st Ave. from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Greek Jewish Festival runs from noon to 6 p.m. on Broome St. between Allen St. and Eldridge St.

The Mariners face the Mets, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. At Barclays, the Liberty host the Fever on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and the Wings on Sunday at 2 p.m.

At MSG, Limp Bizkit takes to the stage Friday at 7:30 p.m.; Billy Joel plays on Saturday at 8 p.m.

TIMES SQUARE ALERT: 47th St. will close between Sixth Ave. and Seventh Ave. from midnight Saturday to 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
