Johnny Depp was no longer expected to be called back to the stand by ex-wife Amber Heard’s lawyers, sources close to the case told the Daily News.

The latest development followed reports that Heard’s attorneys had planned to question Depp again on Monday.

Another high-profile personality expected to be called as a witness is supermodel Kate Moss. Depp’s legal team may call Moss to the stand on Wednesday, according to multiple reports, including CNN. Heard, during her testimony, referenced a rumor that Depp pushed Moss down a staircase.

Depp testified last month at the Fairfax County Circuit Courthouse in Virginia for four days, during which he was cross-examined by Heard’s team.

The actor denies Heard’s accusation that he repeatedly abused her during their relationship, and claims she often turned physically violent toward him.

Depp (photo left) is suing Heard (photo right) for $50 million over a 2018 op-ed published by the Washington Post in which Heard called herself a “public figure representing domestic abuse.” The op-ed doesn’t name Depp, but Heard had accused the actor of abuse more than two years earlier.

Heard countersued Depp for $100 million.

During his testimony, Depp, 58, said he’s never hit Heard or any other woman, and claimed Heard would “strike out” at him in anger or frustration during their relationship. “It could begin with a slap,” Depp said in April. “It could begin with a shove. It could begin with throwing a TV remote at my head. It could be throwing a glass of wine in my face.”

He also claimed he suffered a severed middle finger from a bottle that Heard hurled at him in Australia in 2015. Heard denied that accusation during her four-day testimony, which ended last week, claiming Depp injured his finger by smashing a telephone.

Heard testified that Depp’s alleged violence against her included sexually abusing her using a bottle during their trip to Australia. “I didn’t assault Johnny in Australia,” Heard said last Tuesday. “I didn’t assault Johnny ever.”

The actress also said during her testimony that there “were many times I had to use my body to defend myself, and that included swinging wherever I could.”
