- BY KARU F. DANIELS

Gary Graham, known for roles in “Star Trek” and “Alien Nation,” has died at age 73.

The veteran actor’s ex-wife, actress Susan Lavelle, announced his passing on social media Tuesday.

“It is with deep profound sadness to say that Gary Graham, my ex husband, amazing actor and father of our beautiful only child together, Haylee Graham, has passed away today,” she wrote in a Facebook post, alongside photos of Graham through the years.

Lavelle noted that Graham’s current wife, Becky Hopkins, was by his side at the time of his death, which she described as “sudden.”

A cause of death was not disclosed.

“Dear Mother” star Lavelle recounted in her post how she met her former spouse 20 years ago and referred to him as a “devout Christian” who was kind and funny with a “sarcastic sense of humor.”

A native of Long Beach, Calif., Graham appeared on several TV series, including “The Incredible Hulk,” “The Dukes of Hazzard” and “Moonlighting,” before taking on the role of Detective Matthew Sikes in the sci-fi show “Alien Nation” and its TV movie spinoffs.

He would go on to find success in the “Star Trek” universe — first guest-starring in “Star Trek: Voyager” before playing Soval, the Vulcan ambassador to Earth, in “Star Trek: Enterprise.”

The actor also starred in the fan-created films “Star Trek: Of Gods and Men,” “Star Trek: Axanar” and “Star Trek: Renegades.”

Graham made numerous appearances on the web series “The Jace Hall Show.”

Outside of acting, he fronted the bands the Gary Graham Garage Band, the Gary Graham Band and the Sons of Kirk and also served as a contributor to the far-right news outlet Breitbart News.
