We’re coming together to call for climate action and environmental justice while having some family-friendly fun at the annual Earth Day Festival in Union Square on Sunday, April 14.
This free, annual public festival features:
• Exhibits by dozens of environmental non-profits and climate campaigns
• Interactive workshops
• Live performances
• Art installations
• Kids’ activities
• Sustainable foods

12 pm to 2 pm: Sustainable Art Practice:
Living Materials, Biomaterials, & the Future of Art Making workshop led by local artist Lolo Ostia. Her artistic endeavors have been showcased in exhibitions across New York since 2012 and has been awarded for her Documentary Series on New York Fashion Week.
2 pm to 4 pm: Climate Zine-Making Workshop:
Our Earth Day Climate Zine-Making Workshop, led by local NYC artists, is free and open to attendees of all ages. Whether you have made a zine before or you are new to the art, we encourage you to join us in crafting zines that communicate our commitment to climate action and justice.
4 pm to 6 pm: Climate and Sustainability Bookswap:
Our Climate and Sustainability Bookswap, hosted in collaboration with Climate Words, is free and open to attendees of all ages. Whether you have a favorite book to share or want to discover a new writer, we encourage you to join us in sharing our love for climate books!
