Teixeira goes to bat for Juice Press

Reggie Jackson may have been the straw that stirred the drink, but slugger Mark Teixeira appears to be satisfied being the Big Apple’s Juice.

New York Yankee and Juice Press investor Teixeira is doing some offfield, boardroom conditioni­ng with Marcus Antebi, the founder and CEO of Juice Press, to get the company into better shape.

The two are launching five Juice Pressers in the next six months.

All stores serve cold, freshpress­ed juices, smoothies and grabandgo raw food entrées, salads, sandwiches and desserts. The food is 100 percent ve gan, organic and kosher.

Leading off the expansion lineup is a store in the Soho Strength Lab at 182 Mulberry St., which opened last week, and next month Juice Press will be at 415 Greenwich St., as well as a Midtown destinatio­n at 55 W. 55th St.

In May, the company will roll out a 3,000 square foot downtown location at 83 Murray St., and a modest store in Bridgehamp­ton at 2486 Montauk Highway in Bridgehamp­ton.

A Juice Press Run Club, which takes place at 9 a.m. Saturdays, will also expand into the Hamptons.

WE HEAR ... that the Jets’ Green Room at MetLife Stadium was sold out and packed to capacity: 380 people there for the Super Bowl, including Shaquille O’Neal and Spike Lee. The lucky folks paid a minimum of $1,500 a ticket but watched the game from a cozy indoor space, with great views of the field and fabulous food — including 70 ounces of Tomahawk Ribeye … that Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer has a side business, Rockin’ & Roastin’ organic coffee, which will now be available at Costco.
