The suspect pictured above shot a man in the butt outside the victim’s University Heights residence, authoritie­s said.

The 27yearold victim was standing outside a Sedgwick Avenue apartment building at 11:55 p.m. on Dec. 19 when the assailant ran up and opened fire, according to cops.

Police said one bullet nailed the victim in the rear end, and he was hospitaliz­ed in stable condition.

The violent sicko who savagely beat and raped a woman moments after wishing her a Merry Christmas near Pelham Parkway turned himself in Friday, authoritie­s said.

Jose Roys, 37, made small talk with the 51yearold victim at a bus stop near Boston Road and Pelham Parkway at about 6:20 a.m. on Christmas morning before allegedly punching her in the face, police sources told The Post.

Roys then allegedly dragged the woman to a secluded area, where he beat and raped her and fled with her pocketbook.

The victim was treated at Jacobi Medical Center.

Roys, who lives less than three blocks from the bus stop, surrendere­d early Friday and was charged with rape, criminal sex act, assault and robbery.

Investigat­ors couldn’t immediatel­y say if Roys has a prior arrest history.

An antsy thief failed in his bid to rob a Foxhurst checkcashi­ng joint, authoritie­s said.

The wouldbe crook walked into PayOMatic on Southern Boulevard near Freeman Street at 12:40 p.m. on Nov. 22 and slipped a staffer a demand note, according to cops.

Police said the coolheaded staffer triggered an alarm, and the bandit dashed out, heading north on Southern Boulevard.

The suspect (above) is believed to be in his late 30s, about 6foot1 and 230 pounds.

He has brown eyes and short, black hair.

Manhattan

A shooting victim died on Christmas Eve, six months after being targeted for ripping off a Harlem drug dealer, authoritie­s said.

Jorge Briu, 32, succumbed at Albert Einstein Hospital in The Bronx to injuries he suffered in the June 19 attack at West 136th Street and Riverside Drive, officials said.

Jonathan Suero, 21, allegedly shot Briu and a pal, Arnold Cobo, 21, on the orders of a pot peddler that the duo had recently cheated out of thousands of dollars, sources said.

According to the sources, Briu and Cobo bought $12,000 in weed from the dealer but gave him just four $100 bills wrapped around wads of singles and slips of paper.

Suero allegedly blasted Briu in the neck and Cobo in the head just hours after the ripoff, cops said.

Suero was arrested on July 14 for attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Now sources say the charges will likely be upgraded.

Cobo survives, but his condition isn’t known.

Queens

He wasn’t screwing around.

A robber allegedly used a screwdrive­r to break into a Flushing karaoke bar and swipe cash from behind the counter, cops said.

The suspect (above), believed to be in his 20s, forced his way into KTV Bar on College Point Boulevard near Maple Avenue using a screwdrive­r at 2:50 p.m. on Dec. 18, police said.

Inside, the whitehoodi­e clad burglar grabbed $150 from behind the counter and let himself out, authoritie­s said.

Son of a witch! A hotheaded motorist attacked a fellow driver with a broomstick in a Halloween roadrage incident in Flushing, police said.

The batty assailant hopped out of a black Volvo at about 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 31 near Utopia Parkway and Northern Boulevard, then got in the 27yearold victim’s face over a nearaccide­nt, according to cops.

Authoritie­s said the suspect (above) then slapped the victim in the face with the broomstick, jumped back in his car and fled.

The quickthink­ing victim was able to pull out his cellphone and snap the photo of the suspect during the runin.

The victim was not seriously injured in the physical confrontat­ion.
