NBC’s decision to terminate Donald Trump for his ontarget remarks regarding illegal immigrants is absurd, but thoroughly predictable (“NBC Dumps Trump,” June 30).
After all, the peabrained network is the parent of MSNBC, the venue of choice for talking heads to spew endless liberal venombased halftruths and spurious theses in the name of “news.”
Political correctness doesn’t pretend to play fair; it applies only to the left side of the aisle.
So pointing out an 800 pound gorilla in the room that Democrats deem unmentionable, such as our perilously porous southern border, is an egregious wrong that must be punished. NBC, you’re fired.

Billionaire Trump has found out the hard way that words can indeed hurt, not just others, but himself as well.
After he publicly claimed Mexican immigrants are just a bunch of rapists and murderers during his presidential campaign announcement, NBC has decided it’ll no longer air Trump-affiliated programs.
His clothing line has been discontinued by some stores as a result of his derogatory comments, too.
Running for president has its perks and gets tons of publicity, but it also has its downside, as everything you say, particularly negative comments, is noticed and taken seriously.

How is Trump the bad guy for stating the obvious about the illegal parasites streaming over our border?
Once they set foot on American soil without authorization, they broke the law. They’re thus all criminals.
That they all might “just want a better life” is immaterial; so do the millions of relatives of legal immigrants waiting years for visas legally.
Why should they be stepped over to accommodate people who have absolutely no respect for our laws?
That the majority of these invaders are Latin American is purely geographic.
All those who sympathize with illegal aliens, there’s nothing stopping you from sponsoring one or two of them.

Donald Trump and NBC were like the couple who stayed together for the sake of the kids.
In this case, they stayed together because of the money generated by Trump’s successful enterprises.
Anyone following Trump through the years knows he’s a gunslinger who shoots from the hip.
NBC executives are another story. They are the prototype for the phrase “folds like a cheap camera” when it comes to political correctness.
Trump knows that not everyone crossing the border from Mexico is a rapist, murderer or thug.
Lots of people know what he meant by his socalled controversial remarks.
But NBC wouldn’t cut him a break, even if he personally apologized to every single Mexican in this country.
