GoPro camera goes tiny
GoPro on Monday unveiled its smallest camera yet — an icecube sized goanywhere number called the Hero4 Session.
It is the first major redesign of the company’s digital line in eight years, and the camera maker’s first model that doesn’t need a protective case, the company said.
“With 4 Session, we challenged ourselves to produce the smallest, lightest, most convenient GoPro possible,” said Nick Woodman, GoPro founder and chief executive.
The 1.5inch, 2.6ounce cube of a camera is priced at $ 400, the same price as an Apple Watch, and will be available for sale worldwide on Sunday.
A short press of the shutter button turns on the camera and begins recording automatically.
GoPro shares fell 1.5 percent, to $ 50.94.
