The WBO stripped Floyd Mayweather of its welter weight title for failure to comply with its rules. Mayweather won the WBO title when he defeated Manny Pacquiao on May 2. Mayweather had to pay a $ 200,000 sanctioning fee for the fight by this past Friday. When he failed to do so, hewas stripped of the title.
