PINNY RINGEL Senior Community Liaison to the Jewis Community, Community Affairs Unit Salary: $65,000 You can never have enough liaisons to the Jewish community, so Ringel leads City Hall’s outreach efforts through an entirely different office from Avi. He served as community liaison when de Blasio was public advocate. Ringel also helped the mayor secure votes in the Jewish community.

SARAH SAYEED Senior Ad iser, Community Affairs Unit Salary: Not disclosed Sayeed is in charge of Muslim outreach, with duties including “bringing local insight on matters pertaining to city policy, ensuring services are culturally appropriat­e and accessible to all New Yorkers, and informing the way city leadership and agencies conduct outreach and service delivery for Muslim communitie­s.”

JONATHAN SOTO Senior Community Liaison, Community Affairs Unit Salary: Not disclosed There isn’t a Christian-outreach director, but Soto is the pointman for de Blasio’s newly created Clergy Advisory Council. Soto will “help facilitate the council’s community engagement, work to grow participat­ion in city initiative­s, and expand communicat­ion between government and faith communitie­s,” according to a release.

ROBERTO PEREZ Deputy Commission­er, Community Affairs Unit Salary: $100,000 Perez works alongside Community Affairs Unit Commission­er Marco Carrion, particular­ly in Latino communitie­s. Once a political columnist and radio host, Perez served on de Blasio’s public-advocate staff.

HAROLD MILLER Deputy Commission­er, Community Affairs Unit Salary: $90,000

ACORN head Bertha Lewis, Miller was field director for ACORN’s successor organizati­on, New York Communitie­s for Change, which endorsed de Blasio for mayor. He also worked on the de Blasio campaign.
