$150,000 VA swindle

A former Army clerk has admitted to embezzling $150,000 in disability benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs over a 13year period.

Paul Tillson, 49, faces up to 10 years in jail for receiving benefits based on combatrelated injury claims, federal prosecutors said.

Tillson served in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait from July 1991 through January 1992. Feds say he never served in a combat function.
