Beware of the Refugees: ISIS May Be Among Them
l The European Union better adopt a white flag of surrender as its new official symbol (“Refugees tell horror stories,” Sept. 9).
With the refugee crisis, ISIS is most certainly coming to Europe, just sooner than anyone expected.
Europe doesn’t understand that allowing these refugees in will result in ISIS destroying its vast cathedrals, monasteries, artifacts and its history. ISIS has done this wherever it’s conquered land.
I suggest America doesn’t allow any refugees in before it’s too late. Toby Willig

l The refugee crisis in Europe is a direct result of the policies of President George W. Bush and President Obama.
Bush should never have taken us into Iraq. Saddam Hussein wasn’t a threat to the United States.
Likewise, we never should have removed Moammar Khadafy from Libya.
When you remove very strong leaders of countries, both of whom had their terrorist problems in check, you open a void for problems. America must stop trying to impose our form of democracy on other countries. John Lemandri Williamsburg, Va.
l Many of these refugees from Syria (some of whom, I’m sure, are also ISIS sympathizers) entering Europe uninvited, will somehow find their way to the United States.
This would never have happened if Obama was truly serious about his red line.
Syrian President Bashar alAssad crossed, jumped, skipped over that red line numerous times.

l One must wonder whether a part of this migrant explosion in Europe is a wellorchestrated plan by ISIS to infiltrate the continent with its followers.
The ensuing political and economic chaos will give ISIS fertile ground to strengthen its influence in Europe.
Watching the videos and seeing the photos of the migrants, I see many of them are wellfed and clothed. Many of them have cellphones, too.
