Rodgers, Jones reunite in Pack’s win

Aaron Rodgers threw for three touchdowns, two to James Jones, and the Packers beat the Bears 3123 to spoil John Fox’s debut as Bears coach Sunday afternoon in Chicago.

The Packers got all they could handle from the rebuilding Bears, but took control down the stretch to beat them for the 10th time in 11 games, including the postseason.

Dolphins 17, Redskins 10

In Landover, Md., Jarvis Landry returned a punt 69 yards for a touchdown with 10:22 left to give Miami its first lead, and the Dolphins held on .

Cardinals 31, Saints 19

In Glendale, Ariz., Carson Palmer threw three touchdown passes in his first game back from a torn ACL to lift the Cardinals.

Chiefs 27, Texans 20

In Houston, Alex Smith threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns in the first half as the Chiefs built a big lead and held on over the mistakepro­ne Texans.

Panthers 20, Jaguars 9

In Jacksonvil­le, Fla., Josh Norman returned an intercepti­on for a touchdown, and the Panthers did just enough offensivel­y to down the Jaguars.

Bengals 33, Raiders 13

In Oakland, Calif., Andy Dalton threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns and Jeremy Hill ran for two scores to help the Bengals spoil coach Jack Del Rio’s debut in Oakland.

The game was chippy with several personal fouls, including one on Adam Jones for ripping off the helmet of Oakland receiver Amari Cooper and slamming his head against it. Austin Howard then shoved Jones as a mild skirmish broke out. The penalties wiped out a 60yard run by Jamize Olawale.

Chargers 33, Lions 28

In San Diego, Philip Rivers rallied the Chargers to 30 straight points, including throwing a goahead, 13yard touchdown pass to Ladarius Green early in the fourth quarter, and the Chargers stunned the Lions in what could be their final opener at Qualcomm Stadium.
