Cops are searching for a man who went berserk when a BedfordStuyvesant bodega clerk thwarted his robbery attempt.
The suspect, believed to be in his 20s, barged into Glasson Deli and Grocery Store on Fulton Street at 8:50 p.m. on Sept. 7 and tried to remove a few items from behind the counter, police said.
The cashier intervened and a shoving match between the two ensued, surveillance video shows.
The man (inset), wearing a white Tshirt with a heart design embroidered on it, walked out but returned shortly after to resume his tantrum, cops said.
The assailant tossed a “slushy” machine to the ground, spilling red liquid all over the floor, and was chased out the store again. Once on the street, he pulled a knife on the employee and another man before finally running off.
No one was injured in the fracas, cops said.
A man robbed a motorist sitting at a red light in Williamsburg — opening the unlocked passengerside door, getting in and pulling a knife, authorities said.
The victim was waiting for the light to change at the corner of Walton Street and Broadway at around 4:50 p.m. on Sept. 3 when the thief (above) approached the car, opened the door and sat next to him, cops said.
The suspect threatened the driver with a knife and demanded he hand over cash. The victim did as he was told and forked over $1,175 before the thief got out and fled.
The victim managed to snap a picture of the suspect before he could get away. He is described as being about 6foot1 and was last seen wearing a black Chicago White Sox hat, a black shirt and blue jeans, cops said.
The Bronx
A 73yearold man was found dead in his Morris Heights apartment on Monday, authorities said.
The victim was discovered after police were called at around 2 a.m. to check up on the man, who lived in the building on Marcy Place near Walton Avenue, sources said.
Police sources say that the man’s body was submerged in a bathtub filled with water and that his legs were dangling over the side.
Police couldn’t immediately say if he lived alone or if there were any signs of forced entry.
Queens
An apparent health nut violently robbed a pharmacy in Bayside, stealing vitamin supplements and then beating up a store employee who tried to stop him, authorities said.
The thug (above) walked into the Rite Aid on the corner of Bell and Northern boulevards at around 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 22 and began loading several bottles of vitamins into a red and black gym bag, cops said.
When the guy tried to leave the store, an employee stopped him before the two got into a struggle, with the suspect easily overpowering the worker, according to police. The thief then ran off.
Manhattan
A crook robbed an Upper West Side laundry shop, cops said.
The suspect walked into Maxene Cleaners on Broadway near West 95th Street at about 4:50 p.m. Friday and told a worker he had a gun, according to police.
A worker at the register forked over $270 in cash and the man fled south on Broadway.
There were no reported injuries.
The suspect was wearing a black cap, an undershirt and a sweater.
Staten Island
A man robbed a Midland Beach newsstand at gunpoint, authorities said.
The suspect walked into the All Night Long shop on Midland Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, pointed a gun at the employee behind the counter and demanded cash, according to police.
The 24yearold clerk complied and handed the thief $400 in cash before the man fled the store.
The suspect (pictured above) is believed to be around 5foot10 and was last seen carrying a small umbrella.
