The Coming Hill Coverup: A Travesty of Justice?
l Hillary Clinton continues to lie about Benghazi and her private emails, (“EDeniers are lying in ‘State,’ ” Paul Sperry, Jan. 31).
I was amazed to learn that before she can be indicted for her crimes, the FBI must refer its findings to the Justice Department and go through “four loyal Democrat women” — Assistant Attorney General Leslie Caldwell, Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, Attorney General Loretta Lynch and top White House adviser Valerie Jarrett.
If Justice doesn’t indict Hillary, then all those “loyal Democrat women” should be indicted for obstruction of justice. I guess I thought that America was different from all other countries. I continue to learn otherwise.

l People like to act like Hillary is a liar.
What about Ronald Reagan?
He lied about his natural hair color and, more consequentially, the IranContra scandal, which was arguably treasonous.

Or, stepping back a bit, Richard Nixon, facing charges relating to Watergate, insisting he was “not a crook,” prompting raucous laughter from even the staunchest Republicans and contributing to the notion that none of our leaders are presumed to be honest.
It’s a Republican legacy. Kevin Koerper Manhattan
l The ’60s generation was characterized by extreme hubris, arrogance, ignorance and a refusal to accept responsibility for its mistakes, which are numerous. Hillary is the poster child for this generation.
She knew her private server would open up secrets to our enemies, but didn’t care. Steve Heitner Port Jefferson
THE ISSUE: Concerns that criminal charges against Hillary Clinton may be dropped or pleaded down.
