Bethenny’s nightmare is over

-

BETHENNY Frankel’s ugly, vicious and seemingly neverending divorce from Jason Hoppy is over. An attorney for Hoppy told Page Six that papers were signed Monday, but that the terms of their agreement are private. Frankel — whose 2010 wedding was the subject of her Bravo show “Bethenny Getting Married” — filed for divorce from the pharmaceutical salesman in 2013, and they had been locked in a nasty fight over custody of their daughter, Bryn, 6, ever since. The battle reached a jaw-dropping crescendo in May 2014 when the pair had a no-holds-barred face-off in court, during which Frankel called her now-ex-husband “white trash” and said that he taunted her by leaving bad press about her on their counter. She also said it was “brutal” sharing their $5 million Tribeca apartment with Hoppy and, most memorably, alleged he “would pee and poop and leave it in the toilet.” Meanwhile, Hoppy’s lawyer, Bernard Clair, accused Frankel of using Bryn “as a prop,” parading her on TV and, by stripping the apartment of their daughter’s belongings, relegating “the father of her child to a walking sperm bank.” Yesterday Clair said in a statement, “Jason looks forward to the future and enjoying that time privately with family, friends and most important to him, his daughter.” As Page Six reported, Frankel, who married Hoppy at the Four Seasons restaurant, took the legendary eatery’s last-ever lunch on Friday as an opportunity to tear up a copy of the divorce papers and hurl them into its famous pool. Frankel rep Allan Mayefsky said, “Out of respect for her privacy and the well-being of her daughter, Bethenny is declining to comment.” Privacy, just what a reality star craves right now.
