Two young men are charged with animal cruelty after authorities say they killed a guinea pig before a Detroit-area high school lacrosse game in Woodhaven, Michigan.
Eighteen-year-old Tanner Coolsaet and 17-yearold Michael Roth are each charged with killing or torturing animals.
The prosecutor’s office said Coolsaet slit the guinea pig’s throat with a knife and Roth struck the animal with a small bat.
