Ex-con busted on rape-try rap
Police have arrested a homeless ex-convict whom they suspect attempted to rape an unconscious woman on the Lower East Side, law-enforcement sources told The Post on Friday.
Sean Walker, who has a record of 28 prior arrests, was grabbed in the East Village wearing the same blue T-shirt he wore during the alleged attack, the sources said.
Walker, 45, was charged with sexual abuse.
The 21-year-old victim was unconscious and intoxicated when the pervert grabbed her at the corner of Suffolk and Stanton streets at about 3 a.m. Wednesday, law-enforcement sources said.
