Lohan: broke and broody
LINDSAY Lohan is broke and desperate to get back with ex-fiancé Egor Tarabasov, who dumped her this week after she accused him of cheating on her with an alleged prostitute.
Sources say Lohan is seriously strapped for cash and is distraught over her breakup with Tarabasov, after a video of the former couple fighting outside her London home emerged.
“Egor broke things off with Lindsay. The strange thing is, that after all that has happened, she still wants him back. She still hopes they can work things out,” a source said.
Lohan is so heartbroken over the breakup that she has announced that she’s pregnant with his baby, but not all of her pals are buying it.
“This isn’t the first time Lindsay has claimed she is pregnant. She is rail-thin and chain-smoking, so those close to her are not convinced its true, even though she genuinely wants to settle down and become a mother,” the insider said.
Lohan’s antics have pushed Tarabasov away and have infuriated his wealthy family, a source said. “He has very conservative Russian parents who disapproved of their relationship and don’t want to see him in the press. Things took a turn for the worse when that video emerged of them fighting. Now, Egor is refusing to answer her calls and texts. He is done with all the drama,” added the source.
Lohan’s rep declined to comment, but her fa- ther, Michael, spoke to Page Six TV on Wednesday and insisted that she is expecting. “[She texted,] ‘Daddy, I’m pregnant.’ She tells me she is and I have no reason not to believe her,” he said.
Following the split, Lohan has been consoling herself by spending time with friends in Italy, where she was photographed smoking on a megayacht. “People smoke when they’re pregnant. People drink when they’re pregnant. [But] Lindsay doesn’t drink,” her father rationalized.
He added, “She’s 30 years old. She wants to have babies. She loves kids. She’s had relationships with people in the past who have children and she’s very close to them. She’s got a very maternal instinct.”
